When input “R” is triggered, all data of the latch circuit will be released immediately and become “LOW”, and when input “S” is triggered, all data of the latch circuit will change to “HIGH” as well. All data of the latch circuit will remain in that state until the next operations finish.In addition, SN74ALS577ANT also has data input control functions. When the “C” pin is triggered, the two data input pins and the two data output pins will be connected. When the “C” and “R” pins are both triggered, then the data will be set to “LOW”, and when the “C” and “S” pins are both triggered, then the data will be set to “HIGH”.Moreover, SN74ALS577ANT has synchronous resetting control functions. When the “R” pin receives the pulse signal, all data of the latch circuit will be reset to the “LOW” state in one cycle, and the system will be able to reset quickly and reliably.
