Working principles

The SN74AUC1G07DBVRE4 operates using open-drain outputs. It has two independent logic-level-shifting circuits which are connected to the input and output pins. The logic level low-voltage threshold is 0 V and the logic level high voltage threshold is 3.0 V. The device uses a 100k pull-up resistor to detect the input signal and a 50-k pull-down resistor to detect the output signal. Whenever the input signal is low (below the voltage threshold of 0 V) the device pulls down both output pins, pulling the voltage at the output pin to 0 V. Conversely, when the input signal is high (above the voltage threshold of 3.0 V) the device releases both output pins, allowing the voltage at the output pin to be pulled high by the 100k pull-up resistor.
