1. Describe

These octal bus transceivers are designed for Asynchronous two-way communication between data bus. Control functions are minimized external timing requirements. The device allows data transfer from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus, Depends on the logic level of the direction control (direction) input. The output enable (OE) input can be used to disable the device, enable the bus effective isolation.

The SNx4HC245 is a low drive CMOS device that can be used in many bus interface type applications where output ringing is a concern. Low drive and slow edge rates will minimize overshoot and undershoot on the output.
