The SN74LS374N is a member of the 74LS family of TTL logic devices, specifically belonging to the 74LS family of flip-flops. The SN74LS374N is a versatile flip-flop device, which can be used to create a variety of logic circuits, including logic functions such as storing, counting and controlling registers. A flip-flop is a device that takes an input signal and outputs it in a digitally stabilized format. Flip-flops, generally speaking, are composed of two comparator circuits that feed into each other. In the case of the SN74LS374N, the inputs are two binary ‘1’s or ‘0’s and the output from each input affects the output from the other.
