SN74LVT16240DL is a 16-bit peripheral device of the LVT Series from Texas Instruments’. It provides 3-state devices for high-speed buffer/level shifter and line terminator applications.

Working Principle

The SN74LVT16240DL is a 3-state bi-directional bus transceiver device that comprises one bidirectional 16-bit bus interface port. It\'s constructed with P-channel and N-channel enhancement mode MOS transistors superimposed on a CMOS structure.

The SN74LVT16240DL supports bidirectional data transfers between two buses. It has two active-low enable inputs (G1 and G2) that control the data flow direction.
