The SN75ALS163DWE4 (formerly the TCA75ALS161DWE4) is an octal buffer/driver/receiver family with 3-V to 5.5-V VCC operating range, designed to provide high noise immunity and wide bandwidth while driving high capacitive loads. The family has eight bidirectional, three-state buffers/drivers that are designed for applications requiring high-bandwidth outputs. This family of parts was specifically designed to eliminate the need for termination resistors in applications where large amounts of data are shifted between multiple components over a parallel bus.

The SN75ALS163DWE4 are compatible with both TTL and CMOS logic levels and have a variable threshold that allows for flexibility between both logic families.
