The SP4446EB is an evaluation board designed for DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS. It utilizes a Texas Instruments switching controller IC to ensure efficient, reliable and low-noise operation.

The SP4446EB has two DC/DC channels that can deliver up to 10A and 12V as well as two AC/DC channels that can deliver up to 10A and 24V. It includes built-in protection circuitry including over-temperature protection, over-current protection, and short-circuit protection. The board also features an on-board 5A current-mode synchronous buck regulator for post-regulator applications.

The key feature of the SP4446EB is its ability to program the switching frequency through a single header connection.
