Introduction

DC DC converters are devices which convert a Direct Current (DC) of one voltage level to another DC voltage level. This conversion process is enabled by the introduction of a secondary, or transformer, circuit. The primary circuit is the source of the DC power, and the secondary circuit is connected in such a way that a change in the primary circuit is transferred to the secondary circuit.
