This is because it is encased in a glass capsule which is resistant to dust, shock, corrosion, and moisture. Furthermore, the tag is made to be tamper proof. If the tag is removed, the tag will cease to function.The SPS1M001A-02 is a 13-byte tag that provides an output power of range from -90dBm up to -25dBm, with a maximum read range of up to 40cm with a low-end reader or up to 180cm with a high-end reader. The tag also has an onboard temperature sensor that is able to detect temperatures of up to 100°C and will send an alarm to the reader when it is exceeded.Overall, the SPS1M001A-02 is a highly versatile RFID tag that is suitable for a range of applications. It is able to withstand the harshest environments and the onboard temperature sensor helps it detect and send temperature-related alarms to the reader.
