SR3B-A2 magnetic sensors as well as position, proximity, and speed (modules) are used for multiple measurement applications. The SR3B-A2 magnetic sensor is a low-cost, high-resolution, multi-axis, three-dimensional (3D) hall-effect sensor. It allows for accurate measurement of magnetic fields detected by a pair of Hall elements in either X, Y, and Z directions or two parallel measuring channels with different Hall elements.
The SR3B-A2 has been designed to measure the most minuscule elements with accuracy as low as 1mm. It is able to measure magnetic fields surrounding objects with fast response time and a low energy consumption rate.
The working principle of the SR3B-A2 is based on the Hall effect. The Hall effect is the phenomenon that occurs when a magnetic field is applied to a conductor and a voltage is generated transverse to the electric current flowing through it. The amount of voltage generated is proportional to the magnitude of the magnetic field, and is used in the SR3B-A2 as a measurement of the magnetic field strength. This allows for accurate measurement of the strength of any nearby or currently detected magnetic fields.
The SR3B-A2 magnetic sensors are used for a variety of measurement applications.
