SS-01-F2T is a snap action mechanical limit switch that is made by KAO SHING and belongs to the S2T series. It is a kind of small-sized limit switch which is available in roller plunger, heavy roller plunger, plunger with roller lever, cross roller plunger and flap lever type.

Working Principle

The working principle of SS-01-F2T is simple and efficient. The plunger of the switch is connected to a metal bar, and when an external force actuates the switch, the plunger is driven to move linearly, which will engage or disengage the electrical contacts. And when the switch is released, the plunger will bounce back from its original position, which makes the switch ready for next operation.

When the switch is triggered to the actuation position, the contact will open or close, depending on the type of switch. When the external force is released, the spring inside the switch will be actuated and the plunger will return to its original position, thus resetting the switch. The switch is available in both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) configuration.

The SS-01-F2T is capable of switching both AC and DC voltages, and it has a contact rating of 12A at 250VAC, 10A at 125VAC and 5A at 24VDC. It is available in a variety of sizes and is UL, cUL and TUV approved. The operating temperature ranges from -20℃ to 80℃.
