The SSM2143SZ-REEL is the newest member of the high-frequency, low noise differential line driver amplifier family from Analog Devices, Inc. It features a wide dynamic range, fast settling time, and low distortion. The SSM2143SZ-REEL is designed to provide an efficient, linear transmission of high-speed, high-resolution audio signals, as well as a high-precision, high-resolution data transmission.

Application Field and Working Principle

The SSM2143SZ-REEL is ideally suited for applications such as instrumentation and AV receivers, where it can be used to drive loudspeakers, headphone amplifiers, TV tuners and other devices. This amplifier has been optimized for high-speed transmission of multiple audio signals and data over extended distances, using digital inputs.

The SSM2143SZ-REEL can drive up to 8000 μm of differential output. It uses a1.2V to 10V supply bias and delivers wideband, low distortion, flat response performance from 20Hz to 20kHz. The device supports a maximum supply current of 120mA, with an ability to source a maximum output current of 140mA.

The SSM2143SZ-REEL amplifier uses two independent, low-noise gain stages to optimize performance and reduce distortion.
