SSRC Application Field and Working Principle
SSRC (short for Speed Servo Reduction Controller) is a versatile and reliable control system integrated with speed limiting and singularity correction, applicable in all kind of dynamic application fields with a inherently stable static imperfection and even better dynamic regularity.
For example, high-efficiency processors, energy-constrained systems, embedded and real-time systems, etc., can be ideal subjects of SSRCs.
Nowadays, SSRCs control power systems, machine tools, industrial automation systems, robotics and other dynamic systems in fields of automotive, aviation, computer, electrical, medical, pharmaceutical, chemical engineering and others.
In the course of its application, SSRCs work based on the laws of dynamic response and feedback.
To work out the response to the input signal, SSRCs feedback the signals from the time-domain or the frequency-domain and then incorporate those outputs with the input signal.
By receiving the outputs, SSRC controller can identify the system’s dynamic features or characteristics – steady-state response, transient response, small-signal response and static input-output response.
Moreover, the controller can also identify these dynamic features when there is no input signal.
When all the responses above it involving the system reach a stable condition, the control algorithm will provide the appropriate combined force that satisfies the input signal in the frequency-domain.
The combined control force is produced by combining the static correction and the speed limiting the controller has acquired.
The static correction is based on the responses collected when the system was exposed to the static input signals.
On the other hand, the speed limiting, which requires the responses to time-domain input signals, is derived from the amount of time the system needs to reach a steady state.
The combination of these two is then used as the control force.
By taking these two factors into consideration, SSRC controllers can automatically adjust the motor speed to match the input signals thus ensuring the dynamic regularity of the system.
In sum, SSRC controllers are capable of constantly monitoring the dynamic features of the system, adjusting the control forces automatically, and ensuring the stability of the system.
