Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) arresters, also referred to as surge arresters, are widely used in electrical power distribution networks to provide isolated protection against high transient voltages. The ST-0750-BBT-STD GDT arrester is designed to provide protection from transient surges for those systems operating at system voltages up to 750V AC and 1000V DC.
