The STSPIN220 is a three-phase Sensorless Sinusoidal Brushless DC (BLDC) Motor Drive Controller, which was released by STMicroelectronics. It is a highly integrated motor driver that uses the proven STM32F0 microcontroller, the STM8S003F3 power stage, the L6208 BLDC PowerDriver, the STSPIN220ES three-phase RDS-On BLDC Motor Driver, and the MCP3302 A/D data converter. It forms an ideal motor drive as it provides a full range of peripherals, such as a flexible auto-tuning four-quadrant control algorithm, a variety of sensorless CL-BLDC control modes, and a bi-channel current sensing circuit.
