Single rectifiers are diodes primarily used to convert alternating current (AC) power into direct current (DC) power. The STTH4L06 device is a single fast-recovery rectifier specially designed for power conversion applications.

In the application of PoE, the STTH4L06 converts a high-frequency AC input into a low-voltage DC output.
