Oscillators
Oscillators are electronic circuits that generate periodic electronic signals. Oscillators are used in various electronic circuits like timers, frequency counters, FM transmitters, radios, audio amplifiers and so forth. SXF620003 is one of such oscillators used in different applications.
Application Fields of SXF620003 Oscillator
The SXF620003 oscillator can be used in applications such as analog frequency synthesis, electric instrument systems, motion control systems, servo and motor control, automotive electronics, etc. This oscillator can be used as a reference clock signal for digital electronic circuits to drive both microprocessors and digital logic circuits. It can also be used for data acquisition and manipulation in digital test equipment. Another application is for dynamic signal analysis and data acquisition in DC to 10 MHz range.
Working Principle of SXF620003 Oscillator
The SXF620003 oscillator has a wide operating temperature range of -40ºC to +80ºC. Its frequency range is 4 KHz to 8 MHz and it has an output frequency stability of ±1.0 ppm over a temperature range of -10ºC to +60ºC. The oscillator has an off-state current of 15µA and an on-state current of 900µA. The oscillator can be configured for both standard CMOS (8Kx8) and High-Speed CMOS (16Kx16) operations.
The operating principle behind the SXF620003 oscillator is based on an integrated electric circuit called an oscillator. This electric circuit has an input and output port and works by taking some form of electrical input signal and converting it into a periodic output signal. It is able to do this because it has a frequency control element, such as a resistor or a capacitor, which sets the oscillation frequency and creates a stable output signal. To calibrate the oscillator, these elements are set to specific values which determine the output frequency.
The SXF620003 oscillator has a number of distinct advantages. It is a highly reliable oscillator and its adjustable frequency range allows it to be used in a variety of applications. The low power consumption and low external parts cost make it a cost-effective solution, while its small size and light weight provide for easy integration into new systems. Finally, its wide temperature range makes it suitable for use in a variety of harsh environments.
