The SY100EL58ZC-TR is a multi-level logic Maxim Integrated device, which belongs to the family of Logic - Signal Switches, Multiplexers, Decoders. It provides two normally open and two normally closed outputs, based on 4-bit input combinations. It is a 4-channel Colorplexer IC mainly used for SCSI Buffer Chipset and I/O Buffer Chipset applications within computers. The multi-level Maxm device is designed to provide a space-saving and cost-effective solution in the set-top box and storage controller markets.

Application Field and Working Principle

The SY100EL58ZC-TR device is mainly used for SCSI buffering application in the computer market, where high performance is needed. One of the unique features of this device is its ability to be used as a 2-channel Colorplexer IC for SCSI applications. In this application, the device uses the 4-bit input combination to make two normally open and two normally closed channel selections, which can be used for a variety of data input and output applications.
