The SY10E111JY-TR is a Clock/Timing - Clock Buffers, Drivers product engineered and manufactured by IDT (Integrated Device Technology). It is a high-frequency device intended primarily for fast edge rate transmission and it can be used to buffer and meet the voltage levels of small data loads, such as commonly needed in small form-factor command and control systems.
The device offers eight output buffer pairs, each capable of running asynchronously at frequencies up to 125MHz. It features a wide power supply range of 2.7 - 4.75V and very low propagation delays on both edges, making it an ideal solution for high-speed data processing applications. This device offers selectable Tristate and low-power standby modes for increased system power savings.
The SY10E111JY-TR also offers excellent signal integrity, with minimum setup times, propagation and total waveform times, and routing delays. It provides excellent noise immunity, with high input and output impedances, and includes on-chip Bias and ESD protection to ensure reliable, long-term performance for even the toughest environments.
This device utilizes an Enhanced-Latch, scheme separable clock buffer that divides a clock signal into two separate, synchronized outputs. The clock signal is synchronized on the rising edge of the input. When the rising edge of the clock signal occurs, the first output phase pair is enabled and the second output phase pair is disabled. This type of circuit is also referred to as an open-drain buffer, in that it drives both active-low and active-high signals.
The SY10E111JY-TR is also an ideal choice for use in clock distribution networks, given its signal integrity and signal noise immunity performance characteristics. The device includes on-chip EMI filters for low EMI operation, enabling the design of higher-speed data transfer. The device also includes two on-chip oscillators—one driven by user-programmable oscillator, one driven by an internal, programmable-delay circuit—that together provide multiple synchronization options.
The SY10E111JY-TR can be used in a variety of clock applications, ranging from high-speed data transfer to system control, clock generation, and timing rescue.
