SY10E112JI is a low-power, pin and function compatible, 5-pin CMOS Hall effect transceiver designed to interface Hall effect switches and sensors to microcontrollers. This transceiver is capable of providing the interface between Hall effect switches and microcontrollers, allowing the user to interface directly with the Hall effect switch and sense the positional information and detect a limited range of motion. It is supplied in a small footprint surface-mount package and has a low operating power consumption.

The SY10E112JI has four operating states. When input voltage is applied, the device operates in a "Force" state, where it will output a logic 1 or 0 depending on the polarity of the voltage applied to the Hall effect switch or sensor. When the input voltage applied is removed, the device will be in a "Search" state and will look for logic transitions. When the logic transitions are detected, the device will enter the "Detect" state and then the "Timeout" state.
