SY10EP11UKI is a type of clock buffer, driver and repeater integrated circuit, designed and manufactured by Echelon Corporation. It is used to repeat and buffer high speed clock signals and drive the clock signals to multiple clock outputs.
The SY10EP11UKI is an advanced level programmable clock buffer designed to improve the performance of high speed, low power, digital systems. The SY10EP11UKI is a 5x4x4mm, Pb-free, 32-pin QFN package, designing for a wide arrayof applications that require low power and high speed clock signals. The device contains4 output drivers and four clocking circuits, all integrated in one single IC. Each of theseclocking circuits contains four independent phases, and all phases can be used independently. Each of these clocking circuits are also equipped with an adjustable loop bandwidth and programmable slew rate limiting.
This device utilizes a number of separate circuits to control clock signals in a low power,high efficiency and low jitter way. Some of these components include PLL circuits,phase-locked loop (PLL) drivers, voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO) and clock buffers.Each one of these is used to enhance the performance of the clock signal and providea clean and stable output. These components are designed to work together andadjust the clock signal\'s frequency, phase and slew rate based on the application\'srequirements.
The SY10EP11UKI also has an input buffer which allow users to adjust the clockfrequency and phase, control the voltage alignment, reduce the jitter and provide ahigher level of performance.
