When the gate voltage is below the threshold voltage, the switch is turned off, while when the gate voltage is above the threshold voltage, the switch is turned on. When the gate voltage is switched between different voltages, the switch instantly changes its position – connecting the signal source to either one of the two output pins – allowing signal routing where and when it is needed. The switch features low signal injection and an integrated Schottky diode for protection. The Schottky diode conducts a low current with a low voltage drop and improves the signal-to-noise ratio of the analog signals.
