Tantalum capacitors are a type of electrolytic capacitor composed of tantalum as an anode with an oxide layer acting as a dielectric. These capacitors have a number of advantages over the other types of capacitors, including exceptionally high capacitance, excellent stability, low leakage, low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and good temperature characteristics. As a result, they are widely used in many electronics applications.

T495D476K016ZTE150 is a particularly advanced capacitors, which combine the advantages of tantalum capacitors and ceramic capacitors.
