Thyristors - SCRs - Modules

Working Principle of T512FSE Technology
The T512FSE technology is based on the Silicon Controlled Rectifying (SCR) concept. In this system, an SCR is used to control the flow of current, based on a reference voltage. The system uses a digital controller, which is connected to the digital power supply and the SCR, to adjust the phase angle of SCR in response to a reference voltage, which is generated by the controller.
The reference voltage is used to control the triggering of SCR. A high reference voltage will cause the SCR to be forward-biased and hence the current can flow through the SCR, while a low reference voltage will cause the SCR to be reverse-biased and thus stop the current flow. The phase angle between the two currents, also known as phase angle control, is accomplished by controlling the reference voltage.
The SCR is connected between the digital power supply and the load, and the digital controller is connected to the SCR. The controller is responsible for sensing the current in the load and then adjusting the reference voltage accordingly. The reference voltage is sent to the SCR, and based on this voltage, the SCR will either be forward-biased or reverse-biased, thus controlling the phase angle of the current.
The digital controller also has other features, such as over-current and temperature protection, which help to ensure that no damage is caused to the system even if the current increases beyond a set limit.
