Fuseholders

A fuseholder is an electrical accessory which conveniently holds an electric fuse and connects it to an electrical circuit. It provides both the electrical connection and the mechanical support for the fuse. The most common type of fuse holder is cylindrical in shape and consists of two metal clips that are held together by metal pins within a protective shell. The main function of a fuse holder is to provide a secure means of connecting and disconnecting a fuse from an electrical circuit. In addition, a fuse holder may be used to isolate an electrical circuit from the rest of the system.

T60100-1C Application Field and Working Principle

The T60100-1C fuseholder is a 6 Amp rated, single pole fuse holder with a tab contact and snap lock mounting system, designed for use in panel mounting applications. The T60100-1C fuseholder accepts fuse sizes from 5mm x 20mm, 1/4" x 1 1/4", and 13/32" x 1 1/2". The T60100-1C is suitable for use with IEC, UL and CSA fuses with an amplitude of 0.125A to 20A and voltage rating of 250VAC.

The T60100-1C is constructed from a heat-resistant thermoplastic base and has a flammability rating of UL94V-0. The tab contact is made from copper alloy which provides maximum conductivity and a contact surface area of 0.5mm². The unit is designed to withstand temperatures up to 105ºC and pressure up to 150N.

The T60100-1C reflects a quick and simple snap-lock fixing system. The entire unit is press-fitted into the panel hole, creating a secure and flush fitting for a wide variety of applications. This reduces labor time and also provides a more professional looking application. Once inserted, the T60100-1C is secured into place making it more resistant to vibration.

The T60100-1C is suitable for use in a variety of panel mounting applications including those found in buses, trains, aircrafts and ships. It is UL 489 listed, CSA C22.2 No. 182.14 listed, and UL 1059 Marine listed.
