It is a four-phase synchronous rectifier module which offers high efficiency, superior thermal performance, and adjustable voltage regulation.The T920N04TOFXPSA1 consists of four individual thyristors within a single package. The thyristors are fully integrated with gate driver, thermal diode and ESD protection circuits. The module is available in TO-252 package which has a high power density and is resistant to vibration, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.Working PrincipleThe T920N04TOFXPSA1 works on the principle of pulse width modulation (PWM). PWM works by controlling the magnitude of the output current by controlling the frequency and width of the electrical pulse. The thyristors within the module act like switches, conducting current and then blocking it when the input voltage drops below the cut-off level.The T920N04TOFXPSA1 module uses a voltage regulator to control the output voltage and current. The voltage regulator detects the output voltage and compares it with a reference voltage. It then adjusts the PWM waveform so that the setpoint is maintained.
