The TAP104K050SCS is a widely used series of lead-free Surface Mount (SMT) Tantalum Capacitors designed to offer high performance in a wide range of application fields. The TAP104K050SCS series is available in several sizes and capacitance ranges, from 33uF to 330uF with a rated voltage of 16V DC. The capacitor has deep anodized electrodes and a polyethylene dielectric which produces excellent electrical and thermal characteristics.

The working principle of the TAP104K050SCS series of Tantalum Capacitors is based on the same basic principles as any other type of capacitor.
