The core is capable of up to 1.2GHz clock frequency, and the DSP supports higher clocks. The DSP supports most complex audio processing algorithms and supports the latest audio standards.The processor has a 64-bit bus topology and supports external DDR3 memory. The processor is capable of up to 1028 DPS processing capability. It also includes embedded flash memory of up to 32MB. The processor houses many peripherals like UART, I2C, I2S, GPIO, etc., which can be mapped to the processor core.The processor can be interfaced with analog ICs via SPI/I2C and can be powered by 1.2V DC/DC converter and voltage regulators. It also comes with an integrated noise cancellation to remove ambient noise from the microphone signals. The processor supports various audio interfaces like I2S, TDM, PCM and off-the-shelf audio codecs like SSM2518, SSM2553, SSM2583, etc.The processor is designed to work with an industry standard software framework for audio applications, Audio for Voice and Consumer Electronics (AMiCE). This framework supports speaker independent and dependent DSP algorithms of various types.
