:TC4403EPA is a power distribution switch, Load Drivers and other components of PMIC (Power Management Integration Circuits). It is designed to provide enhanced protection to the power supply and can be used to create multiple power domains and de-coupling across various circuits and applications.
The TC4403EPA is a three-channel device which provides an efficient solution for load balancing, sequencing and overcurrent protection for different outputs and voltage domains. It provides a simplified, space-saving device for multiple and intelligent power switching and load driving needs. The device is also suitable for use in multi-cell battery applications.
The TC4403EPA features an integrated single cell, dual- inductor, 3-terminal current-limiting circuit. This circuit can be used for protection against over-current, transient current and short circuit conditions. It also offers protection against reverse polarity and over-voltage. Furthermore, it offers the ability to drive up to three loads with a single package.
The internal architecture of the TC4403EPA incorporates three independent, self-clearing power switches which are operated by externally applied enable signals. The power switches can operate in unipolar or bipolar modes, allowing them to be used as driver switches, load switches or as low-side switches. It also allows them to be used as power-on reset for multiple outputs.
