TCF15 is a type of specialty fuse, designed for circuits up to 600 volts and rated for current up to 200 amperes. The TCF15 is rated for 30KA of short circuit current. It is designed to protect circuits from damaging voltage fluctuations, potentially causing unsafe conditions. It also acts as a quick-acting, low-resistance overload protector.

The TCF15 has a two-terminal construction with a cylindrical glass body and tin-plated copper end caps. The components of the fuse are a metal fusible element, a thermally sensitive pellet, a ceramic insulator, a crimped contact element, and a flame-retardant shell. The fusible metal element is housed in an aluminum cup containing a thermally sensitive pellet. The crimped contact element is made from tin-plated copper and is designed to fit snugly into the fusible metal element. The ceramic insulator is designed to fit between the fusible metal element and the pellet, providing insulation between them. The flame-retardant shell is designed to provide protection against environmental factors.

TCF15 fuse application mainly lies in three areas, that is, circuit protection, short circuit protection, over-current protection. Firstly, it can be used in domestic high-power (factory) circuit, such as air conditioners, pressure cookers, electric furnaces, etc., for protection of overload circuit under normal use state. Secondly, it can be used as short-circuit protection for low-power household electronics and devices.
