Application Field

TE0715-04-30-1I is an embedded application module specifically designed for performing various functions related to remote control, monitoring, machine vision and automated driving as well as home automation, robotics and Internet of Things projects. This microcontroller is equipped with an ARM Cortex-M7 microprocessor core which runs at a frequency of up to 240 MHz, thereby offering maximum computation power.

The System on Module (SoM) module has integrated the NXP i.MXRT1010 ultra-low power microprocessor with 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 core, along with the RAM and nearly 4GB of eMMC Flash storage. It further comes with 2 x Gigabit Ethernet channels and designed to support dual-mode Wi-Fi. Additionally, this application module also supports UART, CAN, I2C and SPI communication interfaces for data transmission and reception.

With this microcontroller application module, designers can easily implement their projects related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), machine vision systems, remote monitoring, automated driving and home automation.

Working Principle

This application module is based on the modern and efficient ARM Cortex-M7 microprocessor enabling it to process parallel tasks and perform faster calculations. With its blazing fast operation in combination with the additional RAM and storage, it can handle multiple tasks quite efficiently and with minimal latency.

The module’s I/O and communication ports include digital general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins, universal asynchronous receiver/transceiver (UART) serial ports, inter-integrated circuit (I2C) interface, controller area network (CAN) Bus, serial peripheral interface (SPI) bus and two Gigabit Ethernet channels. The integrated Wi-Fi adapter is capable of connects to 802.11b/g/n/ac networks and can be used for high-speed data transmission, making it ideal for different types of IoT projects.

The module offers a wide range of features such as support for multiple operating systems, low-power deep-sleep modes, and user-configurable real-time clock for time synchronization. All these features make this application module extremely useful for various embedded automation and control applications.
