Working Principle

The TEN 40-4812WIN is a high-performance DC-DC converter with an input voltage of 40~ 48VDC and an output of 12VDC/20A. It adopts synchronous rectification technology, using a high-frequency oscillator design, where the switching frequency is above 100kHz. The switching controller is powered by an external 5V power supply, and the internal isolated voltage source switches at the right frequency, thus avoiding the burden on the 5V power output module.

The input voltage is fed through a power switch and a filter circuit to suppress unnecessary high-frequency electromagnetic interference. The input voltage is then amplified by an isolated circuit and sent to a PWM signal processor. After the signal is processed, it is transmitted directly to the two power integrators inside the driver. The two signals are then amplified and sent to the power switch of the power module.

The power module is the main bridge of the power converter. It mainly consists of two power switch MOSFETs, which are connected in series, and the switching process of the two MOSFETs is controlled by the control circuit. The output voltage of the bridge passes through the inductor and the diode and is converted into a DC voltage.

The output voltage is sent to the load output via a filter capacitor and a voltage divider, thus providing the necessary stable voltage to the load. Finally, the voltage SAG or voltage overshoot are monitored by sensing circuit and sent back to the control circuit, allowing adjustment of the output voltage.
