The THS3110IDR is a high-speed, low-power differential line receiver with adjustable current-limiting output stage. It is a differential instrumentation amplifier that operates from a single 5-V supply and incorporates a gain of 10V/V (internal feedback resistor) adjustable from 0 dB to -20dB. Working Principle

The THS3110IDR utilizes a differential pair transimpedance amplifier with an adjustable current-limiting output stage. It has a differential input stage with a gain of 10V/V that is adjustable from 0 dB to -20dB. It also features a broad output stage and optimized gain stage.

The differential input stage amplifies the input differential signals by 10V/V. The gain of the amplifier can be adjusted with a single external resistor in the feedback loop. The broad output stage is capable of providing a wide dynamic range without compromising linearity.

The optimized gain stage produces a flat response up to the second stage output. The THS3110IDR also includes an adjustable current-limiting output stage that can limit the output current to protect the device. It has a 100 kHz bandwidth and a low-power consumption of only 0.95 mA.
