Working Principle
The THS4520EVM provides different gain configurations controlled by the onboard selectable switches. This feature helps in reducing the amount of time spent in the design process by providing the user with the ability to automatically set the desired gain. This EVM offers dual outputs, which allows the user to have more control over the output signal, as well as monitoring and test of the multiple signals from the chip. The THS4520EVM also includes a separate input buffer, providing the user with accurate and realistic simulations of their application.
The THS4520EVM operates at a low voltage range (2.7 V to 5.5 V) and offers a wide operational temperature range of -40 to +125°C. This EVM also includes a PCB with an overall area of 43 x26 millimeters, making it suitable for a range of automated assembly and mounting processes. Combined with its design flexibility, this makes the THS4520EVM a suitable choice for many applications.
The THS4520EVM is designed with on-board circuitry to reduce external parts required for small form factor applications.
