THS6002CDWPG4 is a high-performance dual low-noise complementary differential amplifier with adjustable common-mode voltage and low-voltage differential signals (LVDS) receiver whose application field and working principle are of great significance. In brief, THS6002CDWPG4, as an interface driver, receiver, and transceiver, is used in different areas such as battery-powered medical devices, large sensing systems, high-speed external memory slaves, industrial controllers, and automotive controllers. It mainly features a high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR), low noise, low power supply current, low input bias current, and a wide supply voltage range from 2.8 V to 5.5 V. Moreover, it supports a voltage range from 0.25 V to 1.5 V at the differential input voltage. Both the common-mode voltage and gain of the amplifier can be adjusted to match the output of the ADC, DAC, or any other differential driver device to an LVDS receiver.The basic working principle of THS6002CDWPG4 revolves around a set of circuitries. These circuits include a single-ended input stage, a high-performance and low-noise differential amplifier, two low-power enable inputs, an adjustable common-mode voltage, and an LVDS output. At the primary stage, the amplifier is composed of two p-channel metal-oxide semiconductor (PMOS) transistors and two n-channel metal-oxide semiconductor (NMOS) transistors. These transistors are coupled like a pair of complementary long-tailed pairs (CLTP). Due to the use of these transistors, the amplifier amplifies the input signal and provides an output with stable common-mode voltage and high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR). In the following stage, a low-noise differential amplifier is used to reduce the distortion in the output signal and improve the overall performance of the amplifier. For this, pairs of PMOS and NMOS transistors coupled together with a shunt-based zero-volt feedback loop and a pair of precision output resistors. Along with this, the use of capacitors connected between the input terminals of the differential amplifier helps to reduce the noise. The last stage of the THS6002CDWPG4 is the LVDS circuit. This circuit contains a set of differential output signals, generated from the differential amplifier. These signals are then converted into low-voltage differential signals (LVDS) using a pair of low-power enable inputs.
