THS6042CDR is a low-power, high-speed, dual-channel differential receiver that supports up to 5.6 Gbps of input data rate. The device features automatic data rate detection, enabling it to recover data from random jitter and/or random data patterns. It is designed to be used in data communications systems with differential inputs, such as PCI Express, InfiniBand and Fibre Channel, as well as in other data communications systems.
The THS6042CDR integrates a fully-differential receiver, programmable pattern detection capabilities, a programmable voltage reference, output de-emphasis and data rate detection circuitry. It is available in an industry-standard 10-lead Plastic TSSOP package, requiring only two external resistors for data rate initialization.
