TL061CD is an industry-standard JFET-input operational amplifier (commonly referred to as an op amp) used as a buffer amplifier in instrumentation and data acquisition designs. It has an exceptionally low input bias current, high open loop gain and low offset voltage. Many of these features make it ideal for complex buffer applications that require high accuracy or a low temperature drift.

TL061CD has a wide application field. It can be used in active filters, integrators and differentiators, DC measuring equipment, active sensing networks, audio preamplifiers and output amplifiers, and in oscilloscope and logic circuits. Working Principle of TL061CD

TL061CD is a three-terminal "buffer" operational amplifier. Its schematic symbol and pin out are shown in Figure 1. Its non-inverting input is the input terminal and its output is the amplifier\'s output terminal. Its inverting input terminal is connected to a variable resistor (R2) which acts as a voltage divider. To keep the circuits stable, a capacitive feedback network is also included in the circuit.

The operation of TL061CD is quite straightforward. When a signal is applied to its non-inverting input, the input signal is amplified by the overall gain of the amplifier (which typically includes the voltage divider, capacitive feedback network, and the amplifier itself). The output signal is the amplified version of the input signal.
