The TLD5095ELXUMA1 (ELXUMA1) is a highly integrated power management integrated circuit (PMIC) with integrated LED drivers for multiple applications. The ELXUMA1 PMIC has been designed with the intent to reduce system power consumption, increase system stability and provide a long-term solution for portable and mobile devices. The ELXUMA1 features two a digital, high-efficiency LED drivers. The primary LED driver is designed to drive up to three LEDs with digital dimming control while the secondary LED driver can drive two LEDs with pulsed current control. Both LED drivers use a Power Management Unit (PMU) to eliminate the need for an external current sink and control LED brightness. The primary LED driver on the ELXUMA1 can be used to drive up to three LEDs in various combinations and provides a wide range of digital dimming control. This driver is capable of providing up to 20mA current for up to 500ns duration and has the ability to be synchronized with other lighting triggers. This driver includes an adjustable soft-start current regulation feature, which helps to optimize startup current and reduce transient current. The secondary LED driver on the ELXUMA1 can be used to drive up to two LEDs with pulsed current control. This driver has the capability to operate in either linear or PFM mode and provides multiple end-of-life options. The driver also features a wide PWM dimming range, a precision current source and a programmable over-current protection threshold.The ELXUMA1 PMIC has a wide range of application fields and usage scenarios.
