- The TLIN 1029DRBRQ1 is used in consumer electronics like TVs, DVD players, and home entertainment systems for transmitting data from one device to another.
- It is also used in automotive industry for communication purpose between the parts of an automobile like, sensor to display devices, signalling devices and warning system to other components.
- It is used in industrial automation systems such as robots, machinery, control software, and sensors to exchange data.
- It is widely used in communication systems like satellite, radio and cellular networks.
Working Principle
TLIN1029DRBRQ1 works on the principle of differential coding and bit mapping techniques. When circuit is powered on, the TLIN 1029DRBRQ1 integrated circuit (IC) accepts data in its RX pin from the transmitting device. The IC arranges the data into byte of 8 bits. It then converts the byte into its complimentary counterparts to eliminate errors due to noise by using a process called Differential Coding. Once it is done, the after conversion data is stored in the memory for further operations
The stored data is then broken into smaller segments and mapped into a data frame containing start and stop bits in the beginning and ending of the frame respectively. This is done to differentiate the data from noise. The frames are then sent to the transmitting device through its TX pin. On the other hand, the receiving device continuously scans the data it is receiving by the serial port, looks for start and stop bits, retrieves the data, and store it in its memory. After this, it goes through the same mapping process done by the transmitting device and the frame is converted in the original byte of data.
Conclusion
TLIN1029DRBRQ1 is a highly efficient and versatile interface, driver, receiver, and transceiver that comes with a wide range of applications and is used as an interface between two devices, namely, a transmitting device and a receiving device, for communication purpose. This IC carries out differential coding and bit mapping technique to send and receive data in byte format with minimum error. Moreover, being an integrated circuit, it has a very low power consumption and is thus suitable for use in battery-operated devices.
