Linear - Amplifiers - Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps, is among the various applications available to use when working with devices using the TLV2461IP. Known as a double complementary low voltage precision amplifier, the TLV2461IP typically can deliver rail-to-rail input and output performance. It is built with a wideband fully differential amplifier and can drive capacitive loads of up to 20pF. Additionally, its low offset voltage of only 35μV, low quiescent current of only 3.2mA, and high power supply rejection of 75dB makes it an ideal choice for many applications.

The working principle of TLV2461IP starts with the input signal. Its high input impedance of both inverting and non-inverting pins, up to 1.2MΩ and 600KΩ respectively, allow for more room for the signal to get amplified. This amplifier is designed to produce an output signal that is identical to the input signal with low distortion. The output signal is Inverting or non-inverting, depending on an internal jumper setting.

The device’s large output-swing related to 1.2V supply voltage, allows for an output voltage of 1.2V on the positive side and 1.2V on the negative side. Providing excellent static and dynamic performance with low gain-error and low power-supply-rejection, the TLV2461IP can reduce the burden easily when used in a variety of applications like, amplification of input current and signals, waveform generation and amplification of open-loop gain or to buffer an audio signal.

The relatively low supply current of the TLV2461IP can lower the power supply noise and improve the dynamic performance of the system, as well as increasing the overall efficiency.
