The TPS2056ADR is a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) from Texas Instruments\'s family of Power Distribution Switches, Load Drivers, and High-Side Switches products. The device is particularly suitable for low voltage, low-current applications with its full galvanic isolation between the high-side FET switch, the low-side FET switch and the main power line.

The device is designed to be used as a two-phase automatic power-on reset power switch. It is configured with four power management switches that can be used to control two independent power rail outputs. It also has a Current Sense amplifier, having high accuracy and fast response, suitable for monitoring a wide variety of current profiles ranging from fast switching devices to linear loads. In addition, the device has a digital Over-current Protection circuit, which protects the power source from over-current conditions.
