TPS60210DGS Application Field and Working Principle
The TPS60210DGS is a DC-DC switching regulator that provides high efficiency, low quiescent current, and very good load transient response. It is designed to operate from input voltages of up to 60V and can deliver up to 0.2A of current. It is capable of achieving efficiency of over 90% and is ideal for a wide range of portable and stationary applications such as laptop computers, cell phones, and automotive systems.The TPS60210DGS is a dual output step-down regulator, which means it can regulate two separate output voltages simultaneously. The main output can be adjustable from 1.2V to 5.5V and the auxiliary output can be adjustable from 0V to 5.5V. The internal power switches can be driven by external PWM or pulse width modulation signals while the internal voltage reference provides a reference voltage to adjust the output voltage. The TPS60210DGS features an Easy Pulse Mode which can be used to automatically set the output voltage based on the external Clock Frequency.
