TPS61010DGSR is a highly efficient and competitive small-sized DC-DC converter designed to power a wide variety of low-power and low-voltage applications. This device integrates a 2A/3A switching regulator, a low dropout linear regulator, and a power-on reset circuit (POR) into a single package. It is suitable for many applications, such as mobile communication, information, industrial control, automotive electronics, instrumentation, telecommunications, medical systems, and embedded systems.

The TPS61010DGSR is a voltage regulator with an integrated dual input DC-DC boost converter that provides up to 3A of current over a wide input voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V. The integrated switch regulator features a ultra low quiescent current of 35uA in standby mode, allowing for low-power applications. This device also features over-current and thermal shutdown protection for increased reliability and safety.

In order to achieve power efficiency, the TPS61010DGSR device uses a synchronous rectification technique to drive the output switches with the highest possible efficiency. In order to protect the output from external transients, the TPS61010DGSR features both an external and integrated soft-start circuit.

The buck/boost regulator of the TPS61010DGSR is also adjustable with a single resistor and is capable of delivering up to 2A of current at an output voltage of 0.80V to 3.3V. This buck/boost regulator provides an ability to operate from input voltages that either greater or less than the output voltage, making it ideal for powering devices in applications where the input voltage is not known. Lastly, the buck regulator of the TPS61010DGSR is capable of delivering up to 2A of current at a maximum output voltage of 3.3V.

The TPS61010DGSR also features a low dropout linear regulator (LDO) which is capable of delivering up to 1A of current with a typical dropout voltage of just 150mV and an adjustable output voltage of up to 3.5V. The input voltage to the linear regulator must be at least 1.5V above the output voltage. The LDO also features a fast current limit and thermal protection, which can be disabled for testing purposes.

Overall, the TPS61010DGSR is a cost-efficient and feature-rich power solution that is ideal for a wide range of applications.
