TPS61054DRCR is a high-efficiency, space-saving, step-up converter for a broad range of portable applications. It is a very common PMIC-LED Driver that used in different kind of application such as air quality sensors, area illumination, keyboard/switch illumination, Led flash and torch, night alarm, and power level indication.
The TPS61054DRCR takes an input voltage range of 2.7V – 5.5V and boosts it to a maximum of 21V giving you 6-20mA continuous output current with up to 95% efficiency. The TPS61054DRCR converter is internally compensated and features pulse-by-pulse current limiting with a 0.8µs fault protection enabling higher efficiency over a wide range of output load current. It is offered in a 3x3x0.8mm, 5-pin VDFN package allowing for greater output power density. It is available with a maximum switching frequency of 1MHz.
The circuit of TPS61054DRCR involves two blocks – the power switch, which can be an N-channel MOSFET, and control circuitry.
