TPS61183EVM-528 Evaluation Board (EB), is a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Based Constant Current LED Driver Board, produced by Texas Instruments (TI). It is designed to drive white LEDs, LEDs in RGB lighting, RGB backlighting and other applications for display, which requires a high efficiency and low ripple current.

Features

TPS61183EVM-528 EB is a compact development board with a built-in floating type buck converter. It has an analog dimming control and the range is from 0 to 100%. The maximum output current is 528mA, and it is capable of step down a high voltage DC input up to 35 VDC. It has more than 93% LED drive efficiency and the LED current accuracy can be up to 0.5%. It also provides adjustable output current control with its external sense resistor, user friendly dimming control, an Io pin for open LED detection and an internal voltage monitoring system.
