TPS62103D is a high efficiency, high switching frequency and pulse width modulation (PWM) switching regulator. It is a step down DC/DC converter, which is suitable for various high current synchronous-step-down applications. It carries out extremely high efficiency and operates without an external Schottky diode due to its internal synchronous FETs.

This DC/DC converter has an ultrafast transient response, a 0.8V reference voltage, an integrated soft-start, thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout protection and a power good flag (for system reset protection). With the help of current foldback methodology, the device can increase the efficiency of the device while pinning high temperature on the user\'s application. The operating junction temperature range of TPS62103D device is from -40°c to 125°c.

Working principle of TPS62103D

The working principle of TPS62103D involves a basic synchronous buck topology.
