How Does TPS62205DBVT Work?

The TPS62205DBVT operates with an input voltage range of 2.38V to 5.5V, and it supports an adjustable output voltage range of 0.8V to 2.1V to cover the most common output voltages. It is powered by an external voltage applied to the IVIN pin. The TPS62205DBVT integrates a high-efficiency power switch and a low drop-out (LDO) linear regulator to generate a regulated voltage output. The TPS62205DBVT consists of an internal power switch, a compensator for the error amplifier and feedback network, current sensing circuit, and thermal shutdown circuit.
