TPS62402DRCR Application Field and Working Principle

The TPS62402DRCR is a synchronous step-down DC/DC converter from Texas Instruments. It is designed to operate over a wide input voltage range of up to 8V and provides an output voltage adjustable from 0.8V to 6V. Working Principle

When the switch is turned off, a diode along with a storage capacitor delivers the energy stored in the inductor to the load.
