The TPS627451DSSR is capable of operating at up to 95% conversion efficiency and offers low-ripple voltage regulation.The TPS627451DSSR operates in two stages; the two stages consist of a pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller and an external N-Channel MOSFET. The PWM controller provides a regulating voltage by controlling the power switch. The external MOSFET turns on and off to regulate the output voltages. The TPS627451DSSR also has an internal Soft-Start circuit which reduces the inrush current at start-up and an adjustable Reset Output Voltage (VOUT_RESET) for over-voltage protection.The TPS627451DSSR is also equipped with a power-good (PGOOD) output signal which allows the user to monitor its performance and adjust output voltage if necessary. An on-board ENABLE pin allows the device to be enabled and disabled remotely and a SYNC pin can be used for synchronization with other DC/DC converters.The TPS627451DSSR is a versatile, reliable and low-power DC/DC switching regulator that is tailored for mobile and wireless applications.
