The TPS627451DSSR is capable of operating at up to 95% conversion efficiency and offers low-ripple voltage regulation.The TPS627451DSSR operates in two stages; the two stages consist of a pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller and an external N-Channel MOSFET. The PWM controller provides a regulating voltage by controlling the power switch. The external MOSFET turns on and off to regulate the output voltages. The TPS627451DSSR also has an internal Soft-Start circuit which reduces the inrush current at start-up and an adjustable Reset Output Voltage (VOUT_RESET) for over-voltage protection.The TPS627451DSSR is also equipped with a power-good (PGOOD) output signal which allows the user to monitor its performance and adjust output voltage if necessary. An on-board ENABLE pin allows the device to be enabled and disabled remotely and a SYNC pin can be used for synchronization with other DC/DC converters.The TPS627451DSSR is a versatile, reliable and low-power DC/DC switching regulator that is tailored for mobile and wireless applications. With its low quiescent current, adjustable output voltage, high efficiency, and simple design, it is an ideal solution for small size and low power applications.
