As a member of Texas Instruments\' Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) family of voltage regulators, the TPS6755IP is used to provide low-voltage, regulated power outputs from a variety of input sources.The TPS6755IP DC/DC converter is suitable for a variety of switching converter applications including high-current, low-voltage DC/DC converters, intermediate bus conversion, and synchronous regulated rectifier (SRR) correction. The internal oscillator sets the switching frequency of the DC/DC converter, and the error amplifier compares the feedback voltage to the reference voltage to control the timings of the internal switches. The relative position of the switches during a given cycle determines the power delivered to the load.In a typical application, the TPS6755IP is powered from an input source such as a battery, and the load is connected to the output voltage pin.
